The surgeon makes an incision in the skin behind the ear so that the scars are discreet and hidden. They carefully excise a segment of skin and tissue to decrease the size of the earlobe and remove any areas that have split.

The surgeon then sutures the lobe back together, creating a neater, more youthful-looking earlobe.

There is minimal downtime following Lobuloplasty surgery. It’s normal for the earlobes to swell, they may look like grapes in the early days! However, this settles well over the first few weeks.

The new lobes look very natural, and nobody should be able to tell that you've had surgery on them. The scars will take two to three months to heal fully and gain strength. After this stage, you will be able to re-pierce the ears and wear earrings again.
