…Anaesthetic a bit uncomfortable but nothing too bad had a cup of tea after and went home. A bit of bruising & swelling but as long as your hair covers your ears you won’t have a problem hiding it. Dr Amir is fantastic, the op that he does no one else carries out under local anaesthetic could speak at times and actually had a glass of water during the op. At one point I almost fell asleep. I thought I would be housebound for a couple of days and have time to write about it. I was out for lunch the next day my nephew thought I had been to the dentist…I have only told a few people about it and those that I haven’t have remarked how well I am looking. I no longer have pouches at the sides of my jaw. I still have a bit of numbness in front of my ears but that is expected… A few ladies have privately messaged me Dr Amir doesn’t advertise I don’t think he has to its all word of mouth one of my friends is making an appointment with him.

During the initial consultation, I felt relaxed and able to ask all the questions I had…During the procedure which was not painful after the initial injections, Amir and his assistant were supportive, friendly and professional… The whole procedure was carried out with care and concern for my welfare…The whole area was sore with some swelling, although the bruising on my face was minimal (almost non-existent) and I was out and about from day 1. I returned to work 1 week after the procedure…Realistically, I think you need 10-12 days downtime not so much because of the bruising or swelling but because you will not sleep as well as usual which can be tiring. Any discomfort has been well worth it. I am really pleased with the result; friends and family comment all the time about how well I look. I arrived at Bella Vou washed and ready but of course rather nervous… Amir explained very clearly the procedure and said that the injections may be a little uncomfortable but were manageable…I was beginning to show my mother’s turkey neck and my big fear was that I should end up with the same look. The liposuction on my neck was carried out first and was painless. Then one side of my face and then the other was carefully cut and pulled…Amir was gently explaining what he was doing and then finally after approximately three and a half hours, I was ready to go home… already I could see the difference and my face was much smoother and younger looking. It is now 3 weeks since the procedure and my face looks naturally much younger and the folds in my neck have gone. The best thing is that not even my son realized what I had done as the bruising by then had gone. Believe me, he has eyes like a hawk!! This is the key I feel to a good surgeon like Amir. He does not make it obvious you have had a facelift or liposuction…I am so very pleased that I had my facelift and neck lift done. After searching numerous options for over a year, I decided to go with Dr Amir’s Concept Facelift procedure together with a Neck Lift. From the moment you step into Bella Vou’s clinic, the staff are very welcoming to put you at your ease and make you comfortable. I had the Concept facelift and necklift and on the morning of the operation, Dr Amir Nakhdjevani was very reassuring. He’s performed many of these operations and I felt quite confident everything would go according to plan. The local anaesthetic injections were a little uncomfortable but I’ve had more pain at the dentist!…The operation took roughly 2 ½ hrs and after a much wanted coffee, I was free to go home. I did have some swelling and slight bruising on one side but after a week or so, the swelling and bruising disappeared. My ears and earlobes gave me some discomfort over the next 10-11 days but with paracetamol and Ibruprofen they greatly eased. Now after just over a fortnight, I haven’t taken any painkillers at all. Dr Amir achieves a natural look, the face you want without being stretched or pulled into some of the disastrous facelifts of many celebrities we all see. None of us feel the age we are and now I see my own face without the excess skin and jowls and every week I’ll see an improvement. I can’t recommend Dr Amir Nakhdjevani enough for his kindness, friendly easy-going manner and his highly skilled expertise. Thank you

It has now been three weeks since I had the procedure and my recovery is progressing well. Initially, I experienced quite a lot of pain for the first few days, especially around the ears but gradually this improved, so much so that a week later it almost totally disappeared when I was seen for my check-up. I have a very active lifestyle and was back playing tennis, dancing, and doing Zumba just over two weeks later. There is still a tightness around my ears and a little bit of overall swelling but this is only noticeable to me. Within a week I was out and about, shopping and bumping into people who did not notice the swelling at all. I have grown my hair so that it hangs around my ears and the scars are unseen. I feel well and confident and no longer have the jowls and lines that I had before. Because the procedure was carried out under a local anaesthetic, the downtime was very short, and the scarring and bruising are barely visible. The staff at Bella Vou are extremely supportive and friendly and Dr Amir Nakhdjevani completely allayed any fears I had before, during, and after the procedure. He talked throughout the procedure explaining as he went and the time went quite quickly. He is a total professional and I am very pleased with the outcome.

5* treatment from beginning to end. The aftercare is first class. Amir has a lovely calm and friendly demeanour that puts you at ease straight away. He explains everything in detail so nothing comes as a surprise. The op itself is painless. But you do suffer quite a bit of pain in the first few days. I had a lot of ear pain & also found it very hard to sleep the first few days after as you have to sleep propped up.., difficult, especially if you’re, like me, not a back sleeper. However, I was not the least concerned as Amir had already explained this may happen & it is still a pretty major op after all. All the wonderful team at Bella Vou are on hand night & day. I was, and still am, extremely happy with the aftercare. The op itself has changed my life.. 5-6 down days .. totally worth it! I would wholeheartedly recommend it.. Bella Vou are THE best

I had been thinking about having a face and neck lift for some time and had a couple of consultations for traditional surgery. Then I heard about the concept facelift and really liked the idea of not having to stay overnight in the hospital. I had a consultation with Amir at Bella Vou and decided immediately that I wanted this procedure. It was a bit daunting being awake and there was some pain but nothing that I could not manage. It took about 2 hours and after a drink and something to eat, I was on my way home again. I am really happy with the results and would do it again if I needed to in the future. I did bruise a bit, I’m slim with a thin face, but it was covered with make-up. The scars are healing well and although I still have some numbness it is getting better. I had about 9 days off work which I needed as I wanted to rest and recover. I had every confidence in Amir and the staff couldn’t be more helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend this procedure and Bella Vou.

Then I heard about the concept facelift and really liked the idea of not having to stay overnight in the hospital. I had a consultation with Amir at Bella Vou and decided immediately that I wanted this procedure. It was a bit daunting being awake and there was some pain but nothing that I could not manage. It took about 2 hours and after a drink and something to eat I was on my way home again. I am really happy with the results and would do it again if I needed to in the future. I did bruise a bit, I’m slim with a thin face, but it was covered with make-up. The scars are healing well and although I still have some numbness it is getting better. I had about 9 days off work which I needed as I wanted to rest and recover. I had every confidence in Amir and the staff couldn’t be more helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend this procedure and Bella Vou.

I’d been thinking about a facelift for years due to the wrinkles, lines and changed appearance were not in harmony with who I am. Only when I met Amir did I know that without a doubt, he was the one! The following week I went to lunch with friends with makeup on. I was unhappy with my jowls on my face for many years. The rest of my face was good for my age but I felt that jowls were aging me. …As soon as I’d had my consultation I knew I’d found the right surgeon and place for me. From the moment of your first consultation, the whole Bella Vous team puts you at ease and makes you feel at home. On the day of my surgery (concept facelift, neck lift, and liposuction) I was absolutely sure I was in the right hands and had no doubt that I was doing the right thing…I am so glad I did, I hardly remember a thing about the procedures at all. So….. I am day 8 now and yes the first 3-4 days are uncomfortable and a little painful but this was all explained to me in detail before I left so I wasn’t at all concerned, you just need to remember to take regular painkillers and keep on top of it. I am so pleased with the outcome, obviously my face is still settling down but if you didnt know me you would never know I’d had anything done, I have a little bruising and I can hide my healing scars with my hair. Amir and his colleagues are super amazing and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. I will certainly be going back as I’m sure I will want other areas addressed as time ticks by.

…Amir explained the procedure for his Concept Facelift which is unique and I knew he was the surgeon for me and felt in very safe hands I decided on having the facelift with local anaesthetic rather than under a general and although it is not for the faint-hearted it is just unpleasant ( you can hear everything that is going on) but there is no pain . The worst part is the injections at the beginning but they are just uncomfortable and not very nice. Had my concept facelift just over three weeks ago. If you are contemplating a facelift and are researching cosmetic surgeons then I suggest you look no further. The results are fantastic and the procedure was, at worst, uncomfortable at times. To be awake and not have general anaesthetic was for me, amazing! It took under 2 hours (different lengths of time for individual patients) but I don’t think it takes more than 2-3 hours for anyone who has it done. Amir is so professional and the girls are very supportive. Stitches dissolve quickly, healing, no problem. I think this was easier than going to the dentist! I would be lying to say it was a breeze as you do feel pulling and get a little uncomfortable at times (they will give more pain relief if you need it) Amir and the girls will talk to you the whole time, which really helps. My family thinks the results are amazing. I was out shopping (and in the pub!!) within days. The results are unbelievably natural. You will get a healthy-looking newer you. The night before the operation I was so nervous I didn’t sleep. Going to Bellavou, I was terrified. Upon arriving I wanted to run away! But the moment Amir came and spoke to me, I felt reassured. Walking into theatre, I still wanted to run away but I decided to be numbed up first and then see how I felt before legging it!! Everyone says the injections are painful. Well actually they are fine, honest! And once lying down, listening to music, and chatting, I decided that maybe I wouldn’t run away after all. The surgery is nothing to worry about. It is far worse going to the dentist! Afterward, I felt tight and my jaw ached. I took painkillers for 24 hours, then felt able to halve them and by day three was only taking a couple of paracetamol an hour before bedtime so my ears weren’t sore against the pillow. To anyone getting themselves worked up and worried… don’t! It’s fine. And the results are AMAZING!

…I was nervous on the day, but once I entered the theatre all nerves dissipated, I was immediately put at ease and the atmosphere in the room was light and cheery with plenty of chat going on…the most uncomfortable part of the whole treatment was the injections, but apart from one or two which had to go into existing scar tissue, they were no more than a prick. Dr Amir is a true expert in his field with an artistic eye for what suits particular individuals… I decided there was no other surgeon for me… The Concept facelift is truly revolutionary. No need for a general anesthetic or a hospital stay, and no drains and bandages. The results were stunning, even as soon as I got off the operating table when Dr Amir passed me the mirror so I could see my face immediately after the surgery. I feel like I have my ‘old’ face back…I am two and a half weeks post-operative, and my face just gets better and better as the swelling recedes. The scarring is so small already, that it’s difficult to see. The first few days are the most difficult as you can feel rather odd emotionally. Your face has been altered and it is painful, but it is a surgical procedure so pain is to be expected, but by the third day I stopped taking painkillers as it wasn’t necessary. I really appreciate all the information Bella Vou posts on their website. I can’t recommend enough watching the video of the Concept facelift procedure so you know exactly what to expect if it is a procedure you are considering. WOW …….I had a concept neck/facelift and upper eyelid surgery 8 days ago. I had been thinking about having something “done” about my starting to sag neck and jowls for a couple of years and more recently my sloping eyelids and after winning around my husband I had a consultation with Amir. I decided to have a Concept Facelift and the results were so much better than I could have possibly imagined. Amir and his team were wonderful and the way he performed the procedure left tiny delicate scarring that was hard to see even the day after surgery. …I found Amir & Bella Vou via Google & youtube. I’m 100 miles + from Tonbridge Wells but I couldn’t have been better looked after. My recommendation is – stay overnight, have the general anaesthetic & have the best opportunity to get the best results. I did & it’s fantastic. I have my face back! I’m so pleased it’s so natural… I took photos the day of the surgery & I have to keep looking at them to remind me just how bad it was. Today I look like me…People at work were like – “you look really well” & I felt it…Waking up after the surgery, I was so well looked after, with care, attention, bit of pain meds – but all so well done. I felt safe & reassured…Amir is a miracle worker. Don’t worry about the ruched stitches in your side burns – they will go. The swelling does go down…! Make sure you have the facials they really help & im now 3 months in & there’s still a bit of healing in my side burns but OMG. JFD! Get it done – don’t hesitate. I am sooooo pleased with it. I have my confidence back. :))

I had a concept face and neck lift .. from the moment I contacted Bella Vou the total experience has been just phenomenal…I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Amir and his amazing team .. after the surgery there was a bag of goodies for me to take home including ice packs painkillers gauze to clean the wound, some pads for the pillow and also a gift for me !!..I was treated with compassion and nothing was too much trouble, I’ve just had a week review and the wounds are healing fabulously in fact my hair covers them and are not visible and no one would know – except I look refreshed and no longer tired and definitely not wrinkly any more !! I’ve got my life back !! fabulous clinic with an amazing caring surgeon and of course the great team that works there attending to your every need !! I would never go anywhere else should I decide on more surgery.

Amazing doctor I am a surgeon myself and I was recommended Amir via a colleague who had worked with him since he was In training and spoke of him so highly about how committed and talented he was. On meeting, I knew instantly that he would be the best. As a surgeon, I can recognize another surgeon who is confident and competent. His focus was on appraising my face with an air of complete focus I could see he had an excellent critical eye and was planning his surgical approach as he did so I could almost see his mind ticking!..woke up after the surgery and was absolutely amazed I didn’t have a single bruise on my face… I was walking around the next day and you couldn’t tell I had had surgery. It has now been nine months since I had my face lift by Amir and everything has gone in accordance to what I was told and in line with my expectations. The initial tightness has completely relaxed into a very natural appearance and the scars are invisible. I know where they are but no one else has noticed. The procedure was straight forward and I was given all the information I needed with a very good follow-up after the operation. I would not hesitate to use Bellavou again and am already booked in for a skin treatment later this year. The entire team and well informed and trained, and in addition to their own roles, where applicable they are also given insight into how the procedures are performed so that they can directly relate what they do for patients and how they fit in as part of the overall patient experience.
