Morpheus 8 is a subdermal adipose remodelling device (SARD). It is a minimally-invasive treatment that combines micro-needling with radiofrequency technology. Morpheus 8 penetrates deep into the skin to mould and sculpt the fat and tighten the skin to create a smoother, firmer and more youthful appearance.

Morpheus 8 is a treatment for skin rejuvenation anywhere on the face or body. Morpheus 8 uses a combination microneedling and radiofrequency energy to stimulate new collagen production which tightens and firms the skin.

The expert aesthetic doctor treats the targeted area using the Morpheus 8 device. The head has 24 coated pins which penetrate the subdermal tissue. The microneedles make small punctures in the skin, which trigger a wound healing response to repair the skin cells. As a result, there is increased production of the skin’s vital collagen and elastin. Also, the device precisely releases radiofrequency energy to coagulate fat and heat the tissues making them contract so that the overlying skin tightens.
A programme of 1-3 treatments at 4-6 week intervals with Morpheus 8 can smooth, sculpt and rejuvenate your appearance.

Morpheus8 can be used on any area of your body to rejuvenate and tighten your skin. The most popular areas are: face, neck, jowls, lower eye bags, décolleté, upper arms, inner thighs, above the knees, tummy and breasts.
The number of treatments varies from patient to patient. However, the most people require 2 to 3 treatments on average.
We recommend waiting 4 to 6 weeks between treatments.
Morpheus 8 is recommended for anyone between the ages of 30-65 who want to improve the quality of skin and delay the ageing process.
Morpheus 8 can be used as a standalone treatment or in combination with other treatments. It works particularly well with FaceTite treatments, volume replacement treatments using dermal fillers and lifting of the skin with PDO threads.

It is fine to return to work or go out socially the next day. Most patients are pink for just the day of treatment. Bruising and swelling is uncommon.
It is uncomfortable but not painful. We have never had a patient who was unable to complete their session. We apply a very strong numbing cream for a minimum of 30 minutes before the start of your treatment.

The results of Morpheus 8 first start to show around four weeks after the treatments. However, collagen production continues for 3 to 4 months after the treatment and so the results continue to improve during that period.
The side effects of Morpheus 8 are redness and mild swelling which typically resolves by the next day, but can last up to 48 hours in some cases. Less common problems are small scratches which settle after 2 to 3 days.

Can Morpheus 8 get rid of jowls? Morpheus8 is a non-invasive procedure that can tighten the skin and reshape facial contours, thus making it the perfect treatment for reducing the appearance of jowls.
