Lucian initiated his professional journey by earning a Medical Degree from the University of Bucharest in 1986. Following a move to Paris and a career at several prestigious hospitals, Lucian then relocated to the UK which led to his esteemed title of Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons. His professional growth continued across various London hospitals, including the renowned Chelsea and Westminster Hospital where he was appointed Consultant.
In 2012, Lucian transitioned away from NHS practice, shifting his emphasis to aesthetic surgery and medical interventions, which inturn allowed him to concentrate solely on private practice.
At present, Lucian holds the prestigious position of President at the British Society of Rhinoplasty Surgeons. And in addition to demonstrating his leadership skills, he has implemented an innovative training program focused on technology-assisted rhinoplasty, exhibiting his dedication to advancing knowledge and expertise in the field.
His professional philosophy is rooted in a safety-first approach, as he consistently strives for natural, enduring results that seamlessly integrate with the unique features of each individual. Lucian's commitment to excellence and innovation positions him as a leading figure in aesthetic surgery.

I had a tummy tuck procedure with Dr Amir and I can not rave enough about how amazing my experience has been. He listened to my worries, was completely honest about what I needed vs what I didn’t need. On surgery day I was a nervous wreck! But from the moment the chauffeur came to pick me up to the moment I was taken into theatre everyone made every effort to make me feel at ease. I cannot stress how amazing every single member of staff is at Bella Vou. Once I had woken up from theatre my amazing nurse was by my side holding my hand. Amir came in also to confirm that surgery went great and that I did so well (all I did was sleep!) I felt so loved and cared for that it made me emotional. I was shown my results the day after and of course I cried because I didn’t expect it to look that good. I’ve seen Dr. Holmes at Bella Vou for Anti-Wrinkle Injections and tear trough filler. My experience couldn’t be more positive. I’ve previously had Anti-Wrinkle Injections and filler (though not tear trough filler) at another clinic near my home but wasn’t fully satisfied for reasons that I’ll come to. I then had surgery at Bella Vou last year and was so impressed with… well, everything… that I thought I’d try getting my aesthetic treatments done there, too… Tear trough filler was something I was nervous about from a pain perspective, but Dr Holmes used a cannula, and I barely even felt it. In contrast, my previous injector used a syringe for filler and I think this contributed to the discomfort and bruising. Most importantly, the results look fantastic. Very natural, but refreshed. Bella Vou is a 2 hour train or car journey for me, but I’m more than happy to do 4 hours of travel to receive such superior treatment. I can’t recommend Dr Holmes and Bella Vou enough.

The surgery went perfectly and the care I received from the whole team both before and after the surgery has been amazing. I’m extremely happy with my results, everything’s healing well and at 6 weeks post-op, things are already mostly back to normal. Everyone there is so friendly, and its clear they put a lot of effort into ensuring all their patients are given the best care possible. The Bella Vou facilities are lovely very relaxing spa vibes and very clean. The anaesthetist was so lovely and the aftercare staff have been so reassuring caring and attentive, especially Gabriella and Agatha. You are supplied with everything you need for aftercare which is so helpful as the last thing you want to be doing is filling prescriptions. My Lymphatic massage with Nikki was great it really helped my early recovery I look forward to my next one! The Chauffeur service was a lovely touch and made arriving such a breeze the driver was lovely and this helped make me feel calm making sure I was booked in on arrival etc… Bella Vou’s location is brilliant with parking directly behind lovely shops and restaurants opposite when being collected after surgery your family member can park right outside so that you do not have far to walk or you can use the chauffeur service. I look forward to attending the rest of my recovery care!

The staff are amazing and my patient coordinator Julia has been available and with me every step of the way nothing is too much for her. We have laughed through the process and again nothing is too much or no question is too silly and he will answer you. I’ve read lots of reviews about Jason the nurse and I was lucky to have him as my dedicated nurse the day of surgery. He has such a lovely bedside manner and is so caring and attentive towards his patients he made my first few hours after surgery easy. The aftercare at Bella Vou is amazing and you’re sent away with peace of mind that someone is there for you 24/7 lots of medication and I was left comfortable. With my research, I thought I would have more downtime than I actually have. All the other staff I’ve come across are also lovely however can’t name them. My scar is amazing and neat. Bella Vou Cosmetic Clinic in Tunbridge Wells is Excellent!… Ann, the lovely receptionist greets you and the reception area is calm and the interior fashionable. You are then shown up to the first floor reception, which again is designed with impeccable taste, where a Patient Experience Lead will offer you a soft beverage and magazine. Your appointed liaison person then greets you (in my case, the wonderful Julia) and takes you to see your consultant (Dr Rado). Dr Rado’s knowledge and explanation of the procedure was brilliant and Julia was able to find an appointment for me. All health care information was sent electronically (seamless) and the procedure booked in. On the day, naturally, I was very nervous but again, Dr Rado and his nurse (who kindly held my hand at points which soothed my nerves) but the procedure was completed excellently. All aftercare instructions and products were given to me and after 1 week, I returned to have the stitches out. Again, the same level of super care was given to me… Everything is so well thought of here. I chose Amir as my surgeon because, on our first meeting, he answered all my questions and was able to dissuade me from my previously held ideas about my breast surgery whilst convincing me of a better route to take… I had a total of 3 consultations with Amir before my operation as well as a phone call with the nurse to discuss my medical history, what to expect for the procedure on the day plus to answer any questions I may have had. As a young women who has never undergone any type of cosmetic procedure before I was extremely nervous. It has now been three weeks since I had the procedure and my recovery is progressing well. Initially, I experienced quite a lot of pain for the first few days, especially around the ears but gradually this improved, so much so that a week later it almost totally disappeared when I was seen for my check-up. I have a very active lifestyle and was back playing tennis, dancing, and doing Zumba just over two weeks later. There is still a tightness around my ears and a little bit of overall swelling but this is only noticeable to me. Within a week I was out and about, shopping and bumping into people who did not notice the swelling at all. I have grown my hair so that it hangs around my ears and the scars are unseen. I feel well and confident and no longer have the jowls and lines that I had before. Because the procedure was carried out under a local anaesthetic, the downtime was very short, and the scarring and bruising are barely visible. The staff at Bella Vou are extremely supportive and friendly and Dr Amir Nakhdjevani completely allayed any fears I had before, during, and after the procedure. He talked throughout the procedure explaining as he went and the time went quite quickly. He is a total professional and I am very pleased with the outcome.

I had a tummy tuck procedure with Dr Amir and I can not rave enough about how amazing my experience has been. He listened to my worries, was completely honest about what I needed vs what I didn’t need. On surgery day I was a nervous wreck! But from the moment the chauffeur came to pick me up to the moment I was taken into theatre everyone made every effort to make me feel at ease. I cannot stress how amazing every single member of staff is at Bella Vou. Once I had woken up from theatre my amazing nurse was by my side holding my hand. I’ve seen Dr. Holmes at Bella Vou for Anti-Wrinkle Injections and tear trough filler. My experience couldn’t be more positive. I’ve previously had Anti-Wrinkle Injections and filler (though not tear trough filler) at another clinic near my home but wasn’t fully satisfied for reasons that I’ll come to. I then had surgery at Bella Vou last year and was so impressed with… well, everything… that I thought I’d try getting my aesthetic treatments done there, too… Tear trough filler was something I was nervous about from a pain perspective, but Dr Holmes used a cannula, and I barely even felt it. In contrast, my previous injector used a syringe for filler and I think this contributed to the discomfort and bruising. Most importantly, the results look fantastic. Very natural, but refreshed. Bella Vou is a 2 hour train or car journey for me, but I’m more than happy to do 4 hours of travel to receive such superior treatment. I can’t recommend Dr Holmes and Bella Vou enough.
