Will appendix correction surgery remove my scar completely?

No you will not remove the scar completely. With any surgery, there is always a scar. If the scar is placed in the natural lines and in discreet areas, it is consequently less noticeable. With correction surgery, the treatment is either non-surgical, involving steroid injections. As a result, the scar softens or reduces in thickness. Sometimes, medical tattooing can make the scar less noticeable. Alternatively, surgical treatment involves the original scar to be removed and this is subsequently re-sutured. This will make it neater and therefore less noticeable.
