4mm Permalip in Top Lip Only – Bella Vou – Royal Tunbridge Wells, GB
I am getting the Permalip Implant in my top lip only. I booked a consultation with Bella Vou in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, UK for a few weeks ago and couldn't be more pleased with how it went. The clinic is clean and the staff were very attentive. I even managed to get an appointment for the consultation in the evening which suited me as I work all day.
I already have a nice size bottom lip so I opted to just get my top lip done which the doctor told me a 4mm implant would be perfect to match my bottom lip and not make it too large that it would look odd without getting injections or an implant in my bottom lip.
I will update this further when I get the surgery and add photographs so you can see every steo of the healing process.

Having lost 7 stone my face was beginning to look like it was melting. Even though I am still a larger lady I felt I’d aged at least 10 years with the loss. I hated how my face looked and had been looking into having my hanging chin removed.
A friend of mine had her eyes done with Amir and mentioned me while she was having them done. She was given a free consultation for me so what did I have to lose.
I went along for the consultation and was very impressed with the clinic. I found Amir very professional and to get the look I was hoping for was going to involve Liposuction, Neck lift and the Concept face lift. I was told this could be done under local anaesthetic no so hospital stay for me and a great bonus as I’d had problems with a previous anaesthetic.
I was then taken to see the lovely Lisa who I then discussed the price of the procedures with. I couldn’t say yes there and then as I needed to sort out my finances.
Having got the finances sorted I decided to also have an upper eye lift I didn’t need another consultation I just had to send photos of my eyes which I emailed.
My date was booked ( yay )
On the morning of the surgery I was there for 8.30 and saw Amir who then drew over my eyes and face to make pointers of where he was doing the liposuction and removing skin. Then it began. I was injected with the anaesthetic in my eyelids and around my face and neck. Yes you can feel the injections but nothing to painful it does make you curl your toes and screw your eyes up.
My eyelids were the 1st thing to be done and there was a lot of chatting about holidays with Amir his assistant and me. I honestly never felt a thing while they were being done.
The liposuction on my chin was next I could feel pressure of the cannula moving around but again no pain.
Then the face and neck lift began, again a lot of chatting while this was going on and once again could feel pressure but no pain. I think the whole procedures took about 4 ½ hours. When Amir was finishing the last few stitches behind my ears they were beginning to come too so I said I could feel it and was told it was 6 more needles then finished or 6 needles of anaesthetic then 6 stitches so I chose to be brave and get it over and done with.
On slowly sitting I was given a mirror too look at myself. I was amazed with what I saw though swollen it looked great. I asked if I could take photos of the skin that had been removed and it was laid out nicely for me to take them.
I then saw Lisa again who gave me my aftercare instructions and was told if I had any problems I could ring at any time and someone would be there.
I went home where I had a coffee and rested in front of the TV. I slept sitting up for about a week and after 2 weeks could sleep on my side as I normally do.
I had no recovery problems and If I hadn’t had my eyes done no one would know I’d had surgery as all the cuts were hidden so well. I was out and about the following day albeit with sunglasses on.
I am now 8 weeks post op and more than happy with my results. It all looks so natural and no tightness at all. I still have a small double chin but it looks so natural that no one would know I've had surgery it’s truly so much better than it was before surgery.
I highly recommend having surgery with Amir and his team at Bella Vou.

I had watched some of his videos and seen a lot of reviews from his patients and that put me at ease and in no doubt of the procedure I wanted to go ahead with... We chatted during the whole operating procedure along with the nursing team and practice management who were preparing for a filming session that afternoon ..... and the time flew by, extremely relaxed atmosphere. If you have any doubts then DON'T ... you won't need them!

Wanted the Face of the Person I Felt Like… Not the one for my Age (61) – Tonbridge, Kent
I have been looking at different procedures and surgeons to perform that on me. It has taken a few years to come to the point of having it done. When I saw Amir's pioneering 'Concept' Face lift it was the one for me!!! along with the neck lift too. Without any doubt what so ever. The procedure is performed under local anaesthetic (so awake throughout) no down time and quicker recovery times too.
My jowls and turkey neck were getting too much, as I caught my profile in a mirror a few months ago it was a decision I needed to make..... so decided "it's time!!"
Made an appointment for a consultation with Amir in October 2016 then a month later (as had a cancellation! ) I was booked in.

From the moment you step into Bella Vou’s clinic, the staff are very welcoming to put you at your ease and make you comfortable. I had the Concept facelift and necklift and on the morning of the operation, Dr Amir Nakhdjevani was very reassuring. He’s performed many of these operations and I felt quite confident everything would go according to plan. The local anaesthetic injections were a little uncomfortable but I’ve had more pain at the dentist!...The operation took roughly 2 ½ hrs and after a much wanted coffee, I was free to go home. I did have some swelling and slight bruising on one side but after a week or so, the swelling and bruising disappeared. My ears and earlobes gave me some discomfort over the next 10-11 days but with paracetamol and Ibruprofen they greatly eased. Now after just over a fortnight, I haven’t taken any painkillers at all. Dr Amir achieves a natural look, the face you want without being stretched or pulled into some of the disastrous facelifts of many celebrities we all see. None of us feel the age we are and now I see my own face without the excess skin and jowls and every week I’ll see an improvement. I can't recommend Dr Amir Nakhdjevani enough for his kindness, friendly easy-going manner and his highly skilled expertise. Thank you
