What motivated you to consider Breast Augmentation?
Years of wishing I had shape, of feeling complete, to feel feminine and sexy, as naturally as possible, is finally a reality. As a performer/entertainer I have always been very body conscious and aware of what people think of my looks. I had visited two other clinics previously but got scared off by feeling like they weren’t listening to me when I said I wanted them small. It seemed to be a crazy requirement. So I just carried on wearing the things I thought worked for me being flat chested and let it niggle me for another ‘lifetime’.
When I had my consultation with Amir, I was pleased to finally find a surgeon who actually listened to what I wanted. He gave me professional yet easy to understand advice about the way I could achieve the look I had always wanted.
I never realised until going through the whole process with Bella Vou that my way of dealing with my insecurity was by laughing about myself. I didn't let it bring me down but I covered it up by being a clown! My journey at Bella Vou from the minute I stepped foot in the clinic was a feeling of safe, calm and confidence.

Lisa Wakeman, the Clinic Co-ordinator, has such a great, happy way about her you just feel at home, she is warm and friendly and was always available to help with advice. I met Kathryn Alderton the Practice Lead Nurse a few times, amazingly professional and naturally funny, she will be my go to girl for anything I want in the future as she takes the fear out of it all. I had an opportunity to meet the clinic's Business Director, Roger, even he went out of his way to share his knowledge and again with smiles and care, reassuring mom and soothing her fears. I am normally the type to avoid needles, run from hospitals, avoid the doctors etc... But the way they all looked after me and treated me, I actually walked into the surgery room, before going under, smiling and happy with no jitters or doubts at all, apparently I even woke up dancing. That is how at ease this amazing Clinic made me feel.
Two weeks have gone by and I am over the moon, they are so natural looking already you would never know I had the op 2 weeks ago.
I never do reviews as I always think they maybe false but this is a review I had to do. I am soooooo happy and am a fan for life, no doubt I will be back. For my mom (a non believer) to say to her friend a few days ago, if I want anything done I have no doubt it will be with Amir at Bella Vou. One happy lady!

I had an upper blepharoplasty with Dr Amir and am beyond thrilled with the results. I am of an age where eyelid skin was beginning to impede vision and to look very ageing. I am almost 4 weeks post surgery, I had a breast uplift and a thigh lift. Amir was my surgeon and I couldn’t have chosen a better one, from the first meeting he was so open and so honest with everything , which I really appreciated, he filled me with much needed confidence and I felt that I would be able to love myself after having my surgery having discussed everything with him and what to expect. I have had an excellent experience with Bella Vou and would highly recommend the clinic to anyone considering surgery. I recently underwent an abdominoplasty and hernia repair with Mr Dr Amir Nakhdjevani. Whilst I didn’t have excessive amounts of loose skin, I had post-pregnancy wrinkling above my belly button, stretch marks, and diastasis (abdominal separation), which meant my abs never really reflected the effort I put in at the gym. I first chose Bella Vou after seeing Dr Amir featured on ITV’s Olivia Attwood: The Price of Perfection and was immediately struck by his warm yet professional manner. Alongside this, Bella Vou’s complimentary consultation service and complete lack of pressure really appealed to me. It genuinely felt as though they put the client first, which isn’t always a given. The clinic itself feels more like a five-star hotel than a medical facility — elegant, spotless, calm and welcoming. Every member of staff strikes the perfect balance between friendly and professional. Dr Amir is clearly exceptional at what he does; he communicates with expertise and honesty, manages expectations clearly, and makes you feel completely safe and confident in his hands. The surgery itself lasted around 2.5 hours. The overnight care was also fantastic — the night staff were incredible, I was able to order complimentary Deliveroo, watch Netflix, and my husband was able to stay with me for most of the evening, which made a huge difference. I also received a beautiful bouquet of flowers once I arrived home – such a thoughtful touch. Recovery-wise, I think it’s important to be honest for anyone considering this surgery: the first week is tough. I would strongly recommend having family or friends around to help with moving around, meals and keeping on top of medication. Between the anaesthetic and pain relief, I felt mainly drowsy, swollen and nauseous during that first week. However, the clinic were incredibly reassuring throughout and always available to answer questions, which helped enormously. The second week was significantly better. I was still walking slightly hunched over but was moving around the house much more confidently. Sleep improved and I became more comfortable wearing the compression garment. By the end of week two, I felt physically and mentally much brighter. I’m now at the beginning of week three and the difference compared to two weeks ago is incredible. My posture is almost completely back to normal, and whilst I still need to rest in the afternoons, I look and feel like myself again. One thing I would strongly recommend is taking a full two weeks off work if at all possible. I had optimistically scheduled a couple of work calls during week two and ended up needing to cancel them because my concentration still wasn’t fully there. In hindsight, I should have completely blocked out those two weeks from the start. Overall, I genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better experience and feel very grateful to the entire Bella Vou team.

I’m two weeks post tummy tuck and fat transfer to breasts and am recovering better than I thought possible. The results even this early are quite amazing. The experience on op day was lovely, you genuinely feel like you’re staying in a spa hotel, the environment is gorgeous and the nurses and theatre staff were all so lovely and could not be more helpful and attentive. I was laughing away with the theatre staff before I went to sleep. Amir is an artist and his work is exceptional. My scar is so neat and my belly button already looks like it’s going to be great, I have definition despite a bit of swelling (swelling which has been pretty minimal compared to others whose journeys I have followed. I did unfortunately experience a very rare post-operative complication that required me to return to the clinic for treatment. This was absolutely no one’s fault and simply one of those rare risks that can occur with any surgical procedure, despite everything being done correctly. The support, reassurance, responsiveness, and compassion from the entire team have been outstanding. My surgery went really well, Amir is incredible at what he does. I was so well cared for & the rooms are spotless. I was sent home with all my medication & a timed schedule when they needed to be taken. I was also offered the Chaucer service to my 1 week post op appointment, my driver Andy was very friendly & held good conversation. I also received a beautiful bunch of flowers a week after my surgery which was a lovely little touch. I’m just under 2 weeks post op and almost back to normal, I’m excited to see my results over the next coming weeks/months. I am almost 4 weeks post surgery, I had a breast uplift and a thigh lift. Amir was my surgeon and I couldn’t have chosen a better one, from the first meeting he was so open and so honest with everything , which I really appreciated, he filled me with much needed confidence and I felt that I would be able to love myself after having my surgery having discussed everything with him and what to expect. I am so grateful to him, after losing 7 stone in weight and being left with excess skin and breasts that were empty I decided to go to Bella vou which is something I never thought I would do, but it had changed my life, I am amazed at what Amir has done especially with my breasts as I really didn’t believe they would even resemble a breast again, but I am sat here today with two perfectly pert breasts and I love them !! I am currently two weeks post-operative following a 360° Fleur-de-Lis body lift and external thigh lift, and I can honestly say that the care I have received from Bella Vou has been second to none.
