I have pixie-ears following a face-lift. What can be done?

Following a face-lift, scars normally develop around the ears. If these stretch downwards, it can give the appearance of a pixie-ear with loss of the normal ear-lobe shape. This can be addressed by addressing the scarring in this area. Commonly a repeat face-lift is suggested to correct this. This is not always necessary and the deformity can be corrected without requiring a repeat face-lift. Sometimes, with constant recurrence, a repeat face-lift may be warranted.
