What does this involve?
The procedure usually takes about an 1.5 - 2 hours, including a consultation. The procedures usually last for up to eighteen months to two years some have lasted for much longer, however we do recommend top ups once the area begins to fade.

The procedure is usually painless however; some people will find some discomfort according to their pain threshold, topical anaesthetic is used to numb the area if necessary. A health and medical consultation is always carried out to determine that the procedure can go ahead.

A skin test is advised 24 hours before the procedure goes ahead. Once you have decided to go ahead with the treatment a discussion with your specialist will determine on colour shape and definition to achieve your desired look.
What is the recovery like?
Immediately after the procedure, the area treated may appear swollen and the colour will appear darker and more intense. This will last for several days. Complete healing can take up to six weeks for the pigment to mature in the skin and the true colour to emerge. After care instructions will be given verbally and in writing.
