What does this involve?
They are removed by using the latest technology in electrology. A tiny little needle very gently lifts of the keratosis leaving new baby like skin underneath, the results are quite remarkable and make a huge difference to those that have them on their face and back. They are not usually painful to remove.
Sometimes a small sterile dressing is applied to the treated area. It is important to keep the treated area dry for a couple of days. Then a thin layer of crust will form and drop of leaving the new skin behind.
Is this right for me?
Seborrhoeic Keratosis are non contagious warts that usually form as we get older, when the skin begins to thin, also they can be caused due to sun damage caused in earlier years. They form flat crusty brown lesions and come in all shapes and sizes, they can also have a genetic link. These warts are visible and cause patients to feel self conscious and cover up the areas from public view. This can restrict patients from wearing certain clothing, so they are not visible.
