What does this involve?
They are usually easy to remove and do not return once dealt with. One procedure is usually all that is required, the procedure makes a significant difference to the patient’s confidence. A tiny needle is used to cauterise the blood vessels closing them instantly, whilst no pain is experienced by patients.

Blood spots also known as Campbell De Morgan or Cherry Angiomas; are bright red superficial blood spots usually found around the midriff area of the body in both men and women. They can also be found on the face. These blood spots can present themselves as being quite small or large and can be quite embarrassing and uncomfortable for people.
What is the recovery like?
Recovery for blood spots once dealt with is quite minimal and no dressings are usually required. If multiple blood spots have been removed it is advisable not to have a hot bath or shower for 48 hours until the healing has settled.
