Bella Vou offers every client a free consultation with an expert. The consultation is an opportunity to discuss any concerns you have and the results you want to achieve.

Bella Vou offers a bespoke and holistic rejuvenation service. The specialists will carefully examine your face, checking skin texture and elasticity, volume loss, sagging, lines, and wrinkles. In careful consultation with you, they will tailor a treatment programme. This could include Anti-Wrinkle Injections, Dermal Fillers, Laser Resurfacing, or Chemical Peels, depending on your personal problems, budget, and priorities.

STEP 2. PREPARATION FOR NASOLABIAL FOLD FILLERS

Proper preparation before Nasolabial Fold Filler injections can reduce bruising and improve your recovery. You should:

- Avoid alcohol a day before treatment.

- Avoid any herbal medication for one week before injections.

- Stop any blood-thinning treatments, including aspirin and ibuprofen, for one week. Ask your specialist or your GP for advice before stopping the prescribed medication.

- Avoid fillers if you are on your period.

If you have any questions, the staff at Bella Vou will always be on hand to answer your questions and offer support.

STEP 3. WHAT HAPPENS DURING NASOLABIAL FOLD FILLER?

Nasolabial Fold Filler is administered as an outpatient procedure. Forty-five minutes before treatment, the staff at Bella Vou will apply a topical anaesthetic cream and place cold packs to numb the treatment area to ensure your comfort. Once numbed, the area will be precisely marked for injections.

Specialists will carefully inject the filler along the nasolabial folds, where strategic placement will achieve the desired enhancement. The process typically lasts around 30-45 minutes, and the results are immediate, although the final appearance will settle in over the following days.

Your consultant will build up the volume slowly and gradually. Multiple small injections allow control, ensuring you get the size and shape you want.

Following filler injection, your specialist will gently massage the area to ensure that the filler is spread evenly.

STEP 4. RECOVERY FROM NASOLABIAL FOLD FILLER

After the procedure, most people can go home and get on with normal activities. However, the staff at Bella Vou are always on hand to offer you a drink or a snack and answer any questions.

There is minimal downtime following the procedure. You will be able to get on with your usual activities; however, mild redness, small lumps, and a little bruising are normal for a few days after treatment.

Applying cold packs and sleeping with your head raised on a couple of pillows can reduce swelling and bruising. The team will advise on follow-up care and offer support and guidance at any time.
