Merry Christmas from the Bella Vou team. We thank you for your continued support this year! This past year has seen Bella Vou go from strength to strength and we have you to thank.

2017 has been another exceptional year for the Bella Vou team, with growth exceeding forecasts by over 200% since our opening in August 2015 and over the past 6 month period we have seen an increase in bookings of 40%. We have performed over 400 surgeries this year and 350 non-surgical procedures.

In April our very own Lead Surgeon Amir Nakdjevani was awarded with the Realself 100 influencer award. Mr Nakhdjevani was the only cosmetic surgeon in Europe and one of only two practitioners outside North America, to make the RealSelf 100 award list, which recognises 2016’s top RealSelf influencers in cosmetic and aesthetic medicine. The medical professionals who featured in the annual RealSelf 100 list represent the top 1% of the 11,000 doctors registered on the RealSelf community.

This September we were chosen as finalists for the iS Clinical Award for best clinic in the South of England category by Aesthetics Awards. It is an honour to be recognised for this award.

This years Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspection was very successful, and below are examples of the excellent feedback we received in the ‘Summary of Finding’:

• The service demonstrates a clear vision and strategy for delivering high quality care for its patients and the staff we spoke with were able to tell us about this.
• The service responded to risks and their risk register demonstrated that risks were identified, recorded and actioned appropriately.
• There was a clear open, transparent culture which had been established within the leadership team.
• There was a high level of satisfaction with staff telling us they were proud of their service and enjoyed working within their team.

Our Concept™ Facelift procedure pioneered by Lead Surgeon Amir Nakdjevani and available exclusivity to Bella Vou, has seen worldwide acclaim and has also been featured in the national press. We continue to see patients coming from all over the world, travelling as far as the Middle East, Vancouver and even New Zealand to visit our expert Surgeons.

Over the last year our team has expanded and we have welcomed a new Clinic Manager Noula Friend, Patient Co-ordinator Angel, Skin Practitioner Hazel, Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner Sue Mitchell, Marketing Manager Ritu Valecha, Clinical Administrator Helen Tool and Aesthetic Cosmetic Plastic Surgeon Rohit Seth.

I had a few consultations in the UK for a procedure. I was very surprised by the condition of the hospitals and the short time that the surgeons give you to discuss the procedure. They hand you an expensive bill and your left wondering so many unanswered questions. I always believe in paying for a good service although this seemed to be a conveyor belt,

I had an appointment with Sue Mitchell on a Tuesday afternoon for 1ml of filler. The clinic is amazing – the staff are incredibly friendly and the place is spotless. The procedure wasn’t painful at all – I usually use a stress-ball to distract my head from the thought of needles, however I forgot to bring one. An ingenious idea by one of the girls was to use a demo implant to fidget with!! Worked a treat!! In all honestly, I would highly recommend Bella Vou to anyone and everyone. I will definitely be making a return.
