Scott is Bella Vou’s General Anaesthetic Recovery Nurse. A friendly, reliable and conscientious team player, Scott supports patients’ recovery from anaesthetic.
Outside work Scott enjoys keeping fit, running, swimming and learning to paddle-board. He loves spending time with his family. A big football fan, Scott supports Chelsea, but also enjoys watching his son play football across the world, including playing for England under 19s in Mexico.
Scott has recently completed the London Classics, an iconic sporting challenge featuring the London Marathon, the 100 mile Prudential Ride London and the 2 mile Serpentine swim.
I joined Bella Vou because I was impressed by the team. Everyone from Amir down works towards the same goal, making sure each patient gets the best treatment.
Although my focus is on recovery, I also enjoy being able to support patients throughout their journey. I see them before and after their operation and ensure that pain is carefully controlled and they’re comfortable. I can also offer wound-care and support after discharge. It’s very rewarding to build an ongoing professional relationship with patients.
Clinical profile
Scott has worked extensively in healthcare within the military and the NHS. He spent eight years in the army working as a combat medic and a nurse and travelling to destinations including Cyprus and the Falklands. Following his military service Scott spent 25 years in the NHS as a nurse working in the Burns and Plastic Surgery and Maxillo-Facial Surgery specialties. As an experienced recovery practitioner he is proficient in managing airways, supporting ventilation, and resuscitation.
I make sure that all patients are treated with respect and their comfort and dignity is maintained- but my most important role is to make sure each patient makes a healthy and safe recovery from their anaesthetic.

In November 2023 I booked a full abdominoplasty and vaser lipo with Amir. I visited for my initial consult and knew straight away that i had found the right surgeon, Amir was compassionate, knowledgeable and extremely professional. Fast forward to the 18th of January and my surgery day, Amir was understanding of how nerve wracking surgery can be and i felt at ease from the moment I walked into the building. I was in theatre a lot longer than planned due to an umbilical hernia and extra muscle repair, Amir is a perfectionist and made sure all was well and to his high standards before finishing the surgery. I’ve had a minor umbilical complication which is unfortunately one of the risks associated with this procedure. But the aftercare I have received from Amir and his team has been second to none and I could not be happier with my results. I look forward to my umbilical correction in a few months. I really cannot thank Amir enough and would recommend him to anyone looking for a cosmetic surgeon.
