Before joining Bella Vou, Rado served as the Lead Consultant Plastic Surgeon, overseeing the Plastic Surgery Department at the renowned Aga Khan Hospital in Nairobi - recognised as the most prestigious hospital in East Africa. Here, Rado made significant contributions to the field through teaching and training. As a mentor for the Aga Khan University residency program, Rado was responsible for preparing the next generation of plastic surgeons to provide comprehensive breast cancer care, positively impacting patients' lives and expanding access to quality care in East and Central Africa.
Throughout his time in East Africa, Rado encountered and treated some of the most extreme war and trauma cases. In addition to his professional commitments, Rado actively engages in charity work, particularly in Africa, and has volunteered in plastic surgery missions to Cambodia and Laos, providing specialised expertise to disadvantaged communities.

Rado is such a lovely man and a fantastic surgeon. He gives good realistic advice. I found him very approachable, he always takes time for his patients. For anyone considering this surgery, book it!!Rado and my amazing patient coordinator, Victoria, have made the experience so seamless and worth while. Something so intimate was handled with such care and consideration for my comfort both physically (of course) but also mentally, with the anxiety that naturally comes in the build up to and the surgery day itself. The nurses are so kind, warm and reassuring. Gabriella specifically who felt like a friend on the day of my surgery. She told me heading into my op that I was the 4th person having the same surgery that day alone, which eased my mind that I was in safe hands and knowing that it’s such a normal concern and common op for women. The surgery itself took less than 45 minutes, I warned Rado that I am abit screamish and so had concerns about being awake for this, but I couldn’t feel a thing after the numbing injection, Rado was chatting away to take my mind off it and I even played a Christmas film out loud for everyone in the room to listen to lol. I can laugh now but not how I imagined watching my first Christmas movie of the year!! The healing was about 3 days of discomfort (wouldn’t say pain at all) and you notice in this time the worst of the swelling (don’t be alarmed). My advice to anyone going in would be to just stay in bed for the entire first week- I didn’t move to ensure I healed correctly, and as frustrating/boring as that felt in the time, I’m so glad I listened to Rado’s advice as now I can really appreciate the results. I expressed concerns at around week 2 into my healing (I feared I had infection – which turns out I’m just dramatic) and my coordinator was at the end of my emails reassuring me that nothing was wrong, and I was just experiencing my body’s natural way of healing. I’m now nearly 5 weeks post op, my life is completely back to normal, back to work, back to the gym (still taking it slow and listening to my body), and SO much more confident. The ladies at reception and involved in the patient experience are so so kind too! I ended up having a gossip session with the lovely Noula after my op. I then saw her briefly at my in person week’s check up and despite her not assigned to be part of my experience with Bella Vou, she recognised me instantly and greeted me with a hug and a check in as to how I was. Im not going to lie, surgery is a big deal and you have to be an a certain place to get to this point. I was quite ashamed of my ‘before’ photos and hates taking them, let alone anyone else seeing them, but when Rado said he could help me, I felt an overwhelming sense of relief that I didn’t have to live like this for the rest of my life. After the surgery I was in a bit of shock, because my tummy was tight! I had no overhanging skin and, as my husband says I now have a juicy looking backside thanks to the amazing contouring work Rado did with the Vaser as well! I am wearing sports bras and shorts to the gym, which I never did, even before surgery, but I just feel so much better about myself, and there’s no better feeling in the world than to no longer be ashamed of the way you look. Bella Vou clinic offers an elite customer experience from day 1. My surgeon Radovan Boca was an extremely confident, efficient and experienced surgeon which was evident from the first consultation! My case was complex, with a 360 circumferential tummy tuck, muscle repair and hernia repair needed, as well as 4 sites of liposuction, following 40kg/7 stone weight loss. On the assessment I was given a clear treatment plan and fees were transparent from the first meeting with my patient coordinator Stacie… On surgery day the full team were absolutely incredible. I was reassured by my recovery nurse Kelly on what would happen. The anaesthetist also came to meet me to provide details of the surgery plan. Rado then spent extra time on the marking up process to ensure he had a very comprehensive plan during surgery itself. The surgery went very well (Rado removed 8.5kg/1 stone 4lbs of skin/fat) and I was very comfortable in the recovery suite which was equipped with all your requirements (toiletries, robe, towels). The night / discharge team (Olinda, Juliana, Wurola, Sylvette) were all brilliant and on hand to assist, especially as my blood pressure was very low and not behaving! I am very grateful to all of these ladies for talking to me, keeping me comfortable when I was on my own. The first time I met Rado I was a shell of my true self. Weighed down by my previous surgery after a cervical cancer diagnosis. I didn’t love myself or my body. Rado declined to operate on me at our first consultation. After discussing what was going on Roda wanted further investigation as surgically he wasnt convinced i did have underlying issues and sent me away with my to do list. For anyone considering this surgery, book it!!Rado and my amazing patient coordinator, Victoria, have made the experience so seamless and worth while. Something so intimate was handled with such care and consideration for my comfort both physically (of course) but also mentally, with the anxiety that naturally comes in the build up to and the surgery day itself. The nurses are so kind, warm and reassuring. Gabriella specifically who felt like a friend on the day of my surgery. She told me heading into my op that I was the 4th person having the same surgery that day alone, which eased my mind that I was in safe hands and knowing that it’s such a normal concern and common op for women. The surgery itself took less than 45 minutes, I warned Rado that I am abit screamish and so had concerns about being awake for this, but I couldn’t feel a thing after the numbing injection, Rado was chatting away to take my mind off it and I even played a Christmas film out loud for everyone in the room to listen to lol. I can laugh now but not how I imagined watching my first Christmas movie of the year!! The healing was about 3 days of discomfort (wouldn’t say pain at all) and you notice in this time the worst of the swelling (don’t be alarmed). My advice to anyone going in would be to just stay in bed for the entire first week- I didn’t move to ensure I healed correctly, and as frustrating/boring as that felt in the time, I’m so glad I listened to Rado’s advice as now I can really appreciate the results. I expressed concerns at around week 2 into my healing (I feared I had infection – which turns out I’m just dramatic) and my coordinator was at the end of my emails reassuring me that nothing was wrong, and I was just experiencing my body’s natural way of healing. I’m now nearly 5 weeks post op, my life is completely back to normal, back to work, back to the gym (still taking it slow and listening to my body), and SO much more confident. The ladies at reception and involved in the patient experience are so so kind too! I ended up having a gossip session with the lovely Noula after my op. Im not going to lie, surgery is a big deal and you have to be an a certain place to get to this point. I was quite ashamed of my ‘before’ photos and hates taking them, let alone anyone else seeing them, but when Rado said he could help me, I felt an overwhelming sense of relief that I didn’t have to live like this for the rest of my life. After the surgery I was in a bit of shock, because my tummy was tight! I had no overhanging skin and, as my husband says I now have a juicy looking backside thanks to the amazing contouring work Rado did with the Vaser as well! Bella Vou clinic offers an elite customer experience from day 1. My surgeon Radovan Boca was an extremely confident, efficient and experienced surgeon which was evident from the first consultation! My case was complex, with a 360 circumferential tummy tuck, muscle repair and hernia repair needed, as well as 4 sites of liposuction, following 40kg/7 stone weight loss. On the assessment I was given a clear treatment plan and fees were transparent from the first meeting with my patient coordinator Stacie… On surgery day the full team were absolutely incredible. I was reassured by my recovery nurse Kelly on what would happen. The anaesthetist also came to meet me to provide details of the surgery plan. Rado then spent extra time on the marking up process to ensure he had a very comprehensive plan during surgery itself. The surgery went very well (Rado removed 8.5kg/1 stone 4lbs of skin/fat) and I was very comfortable in the recovery suite which was equipped with all your requirements (toiletries, robe, towels). The night / discharge team (Olinda, Juliana, Wurola, Sylvette) were all brilliant and on hand to assist, especially as my blood pressure was very low and not behaving! The first time I met Rado I was a shell of my true self. Weighed down by my previous surgery after a cervical cancer diagnosis. I didn’t love myself or my body. Rado declined to operate on me at our first consultation. After discussing what was going on Roda wanted further investigation as surgically he wasnt convinced i did have underlying issues and sent me away with my to do list. Whilst I was so disappointed I am so greatful to him. I needed that kick to recentre and tick off the todo list which I did. He could have sat there booked the surgery and taken my money but he didn’t my best interests were at the top of his priority list. Second consultation we discussed my to fo list and outcomes. My surgery was then booked for 6 weeks later. I was so excited. The day after surgery when I saw myself for the first time…..was an incredible moment and to not be in pain was astonishing everything just felt tight. Like I’d been in the gym doing crunches. Roda confirmed he had to do more repair on my abdominal muscles than he ever anticipated. I am nearly 5 weeks post op now. From the moment I made contact with Bella Vou and going to the clinic I knew this was the place for me to have my surgery. The staff are amazing and my patient coordinator Julia has been available and with me every step of the way nothing is too much for her. Rado my surgeon is amazing and put me at ease as soon as we met and was honest about my results and advice from the beginning. We have laughed through the process and again nothing is too much or no question is too silly and he will answer you. I’ve read lots of reviews about Jason the nurse and I was lucky to have him as my dedicated nurse the day of surgery. He has such a lovely bedside manner and is so caring and attentive towards his patients he made my first few hours after surgery easy. The aftercare at Bella Vou is amazing and you’re sent away with peace of mind that someone is there for you 24/7 lots of medication and I was left comfortable. With my research, I thought I would have more downtime than I actually have. All the other staff I’ve come across are also lovely however can’t name them. My scar is amazing and neat. If you are thinking of surgery I would highly recommend Bella Vou.

For years I was so insecure- I had a labiaplasty and this doctor was amazing, He made me feel so at ease with my surgery and explained everything thoroughly. He was really supportive regarding my anxiety around having this surgery and why I was having it done and wanted to know what else he could do to reassure myself and any future patients.
