£65,000 per annum

The right candidate profile and opportunity
Applications are invited who have passed FRCS (Plast) or equivalent senior seeking an accelerated course of learning in a specialist private cosmetic surgery practise. We have 1 position available in 2021.
The fellowship position offers the successful candidate an opportunity to work with leading Consultants in Plastic & Aesthetic Surgery all of whom perform a wide range of aesthetic, cosmetic procedures performed under LA and GA, reconstructive procedures and advanced use of cosmetic devices.
The post is designed for senior trainees in Plastic & Aesthetic Surgery (year 5/6 SpR) who have completed their FRCS (Plast) or equivalent and wish to gain experience in all areas of private practise and across a wide range of cosmetic procedures. Your training would be in observing and being actively involved in carrying out routine new and follow up patient clinics to develop your skills in how to attend to the needs of self paying private patients. Your fellowship will have the successful candidate assist and then perform under supervision both general and local anaesthetic surgical procedures, vaginal rejuvenation, Vaser High definition liposculpting to all areas of the body and face. Renuvion and Bodytite will also be covered as part of the fellowship programme. You will gain experience in learning how to carry out many of the surgical procedures under a local anaesthetic as well as under GA and to gain practical experience and know how in all areas of private practice necessary to best secure success in your career.

In November 2023 I booked a full abdominoplasty and vaser lipo with Amir. I visited for my initial consult and knew straight away that i had found the right surgeon, Amir was compassionate, knowledgeable and extremely professional. Fast forward to the 18th of January and my surgery day, Amir was understanding of how nerve wracking surgery can be and i felt at ease from the moment I walked into the building. I was in theatre a lot longer than planned due to an umbilical hernia and extra muscle repair, Amir is a perfectionist and made sure all was well and to his high standards before finishing the surgery. I’ve had a minor umbilical complication which is unfortunately one of the risks associated with this procedure. But the aftercare I have received from Amir and his team has been second to none and I could not be happier with my results. I look forward to my umbilical correction in a few months. I really cannot thank Amir enough and would recommend him to anyone looking for a cosmetic surgeon.
