Is the surgery painful?

We will give you a numbing cream to apply for 40 minutes prior to your surgery. Thereafter, we will inject local anaesthetic into the required areas. Your surgeon will use a combination of long and short acting anaesthetics which will provide comfort during the procedure and for some time after the surgery.

Some patients experience mild discomfort whilst others have experienced a burning pain around the area. We will give you painkillers to help control the pain.
