What is the difference between FUT and FUE transplants?

FUE is considered the scar less technique as the individual hairs are harvested. This results in no scar at the donor site. This is an effective procedure for the crown and generally the yields are far less than FUT. The advantage of FUT is that there is far less risk of damaging the follicle roots on harvest with this method. Each hair is individually separated from the strip and generally the hair yield is far greater. This will therefore lead to greater density which is the key to a good hair transplant.
