Is this right for me?
Lip fillers: are appropriate for anyone who would like to enhance the lip shape and volume
Surgical Lip Augmentation: this is useful in patients who do not wish to have injectable fillers or find they are absorbing the filler too quickly. This is a permanent solution for that
What does this involve?
Lip Filler: this involves injecting filler into the lips to increase the volume and enhance the shape. Numbing cream and a cold-compress is generally placed onto the area. This helps to reduce the pain and minimise the bruising.
For augmentation with an implant, the lips are injected with local anaesthetic. A tunnel is created in the lips and the implants are then introduced. The exit and entry points of the tunnel are then closed with dissolvable stitches.
