Best treatment for dark circles

Eye Regen – Your dark circles would give a panda a good run for its money, your sockets have started to hollow out and you always – no matter how much beauty sleep you get – look tired. You need something to illuminate that chasm around the orb; something to ‘fill’ those bags. Forget common fillers such as Juvéderm or Restylane (bit thick and lumpy to be used here), but consider Eye Regen. This potent, jelly like solution – a mixture of PRP (platelet-rich plasma), a growth factor rich solution derived from a bit of your own blood, and hyaluronic acid, famed for its moisture boosting abilities – is deposited carefully via a blunt cannula. Slowly the depressed ridge is filled up – a bit like inflating a car tyre – stimulating circulation and subtly plumping as it goes. It doesn’t destroy the pigment really, but it does reduce the deficit, so under the eyes appear less shadowy. You’re looking at about 20 minutes per eye.

PAIN FACTOR: Not much pain. A bit of numbing cream and a jab of anaesthetic sorts this, while the filling process feels more strange than uncomfortable.

DOWNTIME: Rather unnervingly, the solution can be felt beneath the eye: it takes a couple of days to settle and there may be some slight puffiness. If this happens, ibuprofen plus a light ‘patting’ around the orbital bone is recommended.

RESULTS: Shadows?? What dark shadows?? Light positively skips off the newly tightened area. And it’s likely to do so for the next five to seven months, providing you don’t lose a large amount of weight from your face.
