If you have, you are not alone. There has been an astonishing surge in the demand for Anti-Wrinkle Injections and other ant-wrinkle treatments. According to consumer analyst Mintel, ‘over one million non-surgical procedures were performed in the UK last year’.
Would you run the risk of having botox® with an unregistered surgeon if the price was still competitive?
The government are backing a register that should result in putting a stop to rogue, unregistered practitioners offering anti-wrinkle injections; treatments – but would this make you think twice?

In light of this, the UK Department of Health are forking out £200,000 to back a register which will list clinics and beauty parlours where botox® and other anti-ageing procedures have been declared safe to use. At present, there is no protocol on who administers these treatments.
So I put it to you, would you risk botox® at a place that wasn’t on the accepted list? Do you think being registered would allow clinics to charge more?
Would it necessarily increase the risk of cheaper ‘rogue’ botox® places? Have you already done the deed and think the list is unnecessary?
